Designated Coordinator (DC) 📘
Our Designated Coordinator holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Science, with an emphasis in Family Communication.
This educational background provides a strong foundation in:
Person-centered planning
Family systems and communication dynamics
Skill development and functional independence
Support coordination and advocacy
Designated Coordinator is responsible for:
Ensuring services follow each individual’s person-centered service plan
Supervising and supporting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Monitoring documentation accuracy and service authorization compliance
Providing staff training and competency oversight
Ensuring protection of client health, safety, and rights
Coordinating with case managers and interdisciplinary teams
Maintaining compliance with DHS licensing requirements
Her background in psychology and occupational science allows her to approach service delivery holistically — focusing not only on tasks, but on communication, family involvement, functional independence, and long-term stability.
Her leadership ensures services are compassionate, structured, compliant, and aligned with each individual’s goals.
